Bernd Schröder studied computer science at the Technical University of Berlin. Afterwards, his work focused on the field of EDA tool development at Mentor Graphics, among others. In 2011, he moved to Fraunhofer IZM to join the Physical Design Tools & Software group. Since then, he has been responsible for software architecture and implementation in a wide range of projects.
