For practical application, these often complex and sensitive quantum systems must be miniaturized, integrated, and built reliably. At Fraunhofer IZM, technologies for the integration of photonic systems, packaging, and system integration are being developed to make quantum communication, quantum sensing, and future quantum computers viable for industrial use.
