Lars Stagun, a TU Berlin alumnus, started at Fraunhofer IZM in 2016 when he joined the System on Flex group as a student researcher. He wrote his master’s thesis in mechanical engineering on the e-textile bonder, a specialized machine for interconnecting electronic modules onto textiles.
The bonder was developed in large parts by Lars Stagun himself and has been used in many projects ever since. Since his graduation in 2019, he has been working as a research fellow at the TU Berlin and Fraunhofer IZM, working on e-textiles, additive manufacturing, and soft robotics.
