Jana Rückschloss

Jana Rückschloss holds a diploma in environmental engineering from the Technical University of Berlin. She originally joined Fraunhofer IZM in 2004 as student fellow and has stayed with the institute as a researcher in the “Environmental and Reliability Engineering” department since 2010. The focus of her work is critical raw materials in electronics, a topic she had already investigated in her diploma thesis of 2010, covering in particular the evaluation of criticality (supply risks) for the European electronics market. Further areas of interest for her include environmental legislation, eco-design, and environmental assessments.
